How to Catch a Customer’s Eye: A Wall Mural

You walk into a business and the walls are empty. Your mind then starts wondering with questions like “What is wrong with this business?”, “Are they closing?” or “Are these people just boring?” You have company come over to your house, and the walls are bare. Your company’s mind is going to start wondering if you are a boring person.

No one likes to see bland walls as soon as they enter a business. Why not make it interesting and step it up with a wall mural? As the saying goes, “A picture is a thousand words.” Wall murals can dramatically change the design and visual aspect of any space.

A mural on the wall can make a difference in many ways.

  • It’s an instant eye catcher for your customers as soon as they walk in.
  • It adds dimensions and depth to any room
  • It’s an inexpensive option
  • A great way to advertise and promote your brand and/or products

A wall mural is affixed directly to the wall with vinyl so there is no mess like there is with paint. Just like a sign, every mural is different and unique. You are getting an original piece of art.

As our new location is coming together, we have a large showroom where we like to give customers an idea of the capabilities we have. We wanted something special to cover the large back wall customers see when they first walk through our front door and at the same time, recognize some of our larger and most loyal customers.

Theresa, the owner, found an image to she thought symbolized the company’s value of partnering with our customers that was used as the backdrop for the mural. We then added the logos for some of our best customers. Joanne, the production manager, cleaned up the picture and design to make sure that it would fill the wall, making a grand impression on customers when they come to see us.

In addition to the wall mural, we also wanted to add a lobby sign that would also focus attention on this expertise. Josh designed a multidimensional lighted lobby sign to the wall that made the wall look even more impressive. We are super thrilled with what the wall has come to look like.

Since our showroom is rather large, we decided to focus each wall on a different aspect of our business and are using wall graphics to show these capabilities in a creative way.  On one, we have a mural in which we describe the different types of vehicle graphics we can do, using a ski slopes theme (each of the different levels of vehicle graphics being given a slope level as you’d see on a trail map).
