Rebranding Apartment Signs for Two Aimco Properties

Rebranding occurs when an organization decides to change the way their brand is seen. Why do companies rebrand? There are several reasons for doing this, which range from needing a new look, changes in product line(s), attract new audiences, competition, etc.  Rebranding apartment signs is no different from what is done for any other business.

Apartment Building Signage | Apartment Door SignageLast year we completed a project for Aimco Apartment Homes when they rebranded Park and 12th to 1045 on the Park.  Aimco is a large Denver-based apartment management company that is expanding into the Atlanta market.  They recently acquired two new properties and wanted to give them a fresh new look apartment signage design that would attract the upscale renters in the trendy Buckhead and Midtown areas of Atlanta.

In working with Meghan Flanagan on Tremont Apartment Homes in Buckhead, and Danielle Langston on Mezzo Apartment Homes in Midtown we were able to go from concept to installation in a short amount of time.

Both rebranding projects started with doing site visits to take measurements and pictures, confirming that some of the concepts that the team in Denver had developed would work. We also suggested some additional signs to help with various improvements at both complexes.

Once the site visits were completed the marketing team at Aimco developed the designs for all of the signs they wanted us to produce and install.

The apartment complex sign design elements for both had sophisticated, yet simple designs, with clean lines. The signs ranged from simple parking signs, to window vinyl, a-frames, post-and-panel systems, banners and dimensional signs.Apartment Complex Signs | Apartment Building Interior Signs

Since each apartment complex was unique and different, several manufacturing techniques were used for the various sign and including printing and routing.

Once the initial set of signs was completed, we went back and reviewed the final products with them to make sure everything was what they expected.  As what typically happens on large projects like these, Aimco determined they needed some additional signs to finish up the project.

We also let the team at Aimco know that we were capable of helping them across the country with our network of friends in the sign business. We have since helped them in Chicago, IL, Boston, MA and Nashville, TN. We look forward to continuing this great working relationship.
