Recently, we were contacted by Lauren Farver, who is in Texas and is the Marketing Manager for Renewal by Andersen. Renewal by Andersen is an exclusive provider of Andersen windows, a national window replacement company that is currently expanding into the Atlanta Market.
Lauren found us through the internet and wanted pricing on vehicle wraps for a fleet of trucks and minivans being purchased to make their brand stand out in the new market.
Since opening their first store in Minnesota in 1995, Renewal by Andersen Corporation has rapidly grown to more than 100 markets in the U.S., becoming one of the largest replacement window companies in the country. And, since they have installed nearly 3 million windows, you can trust them to do the job right. Their focus is on providing their customers with high-quality replacement windows that carry a lifetime guarantee.
Our first project was to include two Dodge Caravans and one Dodge Ram pick-up truck. Part of the project was for us to come up with the design for the wraps. Since they were a national company they wanted a similar look and feel as designs used in their other markets, but they also wanted something that was distinctly different for this market.
Additionally, they wanted the vans, used by the sales team, and the trucks, used by the installation team, to each have a different look but be similar enough as to identify the corporate identity for the Atlanta market.
Joanne Turner, our lead design and production team member, began working with Lauren on the appropriate design, layout, and branding message. It was very important to the customer to get this right. They understand the value of advertising on vehicles and knew that whatever was out there would be seen by thousands of people every day.
The new design included a primarily green background that linked the design to their corporate image. It also included images of new replacement windows with pertinent contact information, logos, tag lines, etc., as most vehicle wraps do.
Because the body style of the bumpers for the Caravan are often wrapped separately due to its large curvatures, the green background was used on both the front and the back of the vehicles and gave them a very fluid look from front to back no matter which angle one looks at the van.
The truck wrap did not employ this technique in its design. In that design, the bed of the truck focused on their product, showing everyone how nice their windows make any home look.
The designs were approved and then the scheduling for the wraps was determined. We wrapped all three vehicles during the last week of August. This gave the fleet an immediate and distinctive brand image for them as they start out in the Atlanta market. The new wrap design is also very translatable to other vehicles as the fleet grows.
We thank the Renewal by Anderson team for working with us on this project. We look forward to their successful expansion into the Atlanta marketplace, and more vehicle wraps in the near future.
